Judy Maher

Judy Maher serves as Senior IP Operations Manager.

Maher joined PICI from Vir Biotechnology. As Senior Legal Operations Associate at Vir, she established processes and systems during the nascent days of the legal department and most recently handled the contract deliverables for US government funded activities as Senior Manager on the Public Private Partnerships team.

Prior to Vir, Maher was Director, Intellectual Property, at Elo Touch Solutions, leading the patent and trademark portfolio development for the commercial touchscreen company. Her IP experience also includes roles performing in-house patent asset management as a Registered Patent Agent for Sybase, an SAP company, and Cadence Design Systems, as well as securing patent rights as outside counsel working independently and in boutique patent law firms in the Silicon Valley.

Maher earned her BS in Electrical Engineering from Santa Clara University and holds a Master’s degree in Library and Information Science from San Jose State University.
