Christopher S. Seet MD, PhD Assistant Professor, Division of Hematology-Oncology Biography Christopher Seet, MD, PhD, is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Hematology-Oncology at UCLA. He leads a basic science research lab focused on human immune cell development and cellular immunotherapy and maintains a clinical practice in hematologic malignancies, stem cell transplantation and cellular therapy at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center. The Seet Lab is focused on applying research into human lymphocyte development to tumor immunology and cancer immunotherapy. The lab broadly seeks to understand how T-cell development from stem and progenitor cells may be directed to enhance anti-tumor T-cell function. Current areas of research include the in vitro generation of tumor antigen-specific TCRs, characterization of novel receptor pathways in T cell-tumor cell interactions, and optimization of iPSC-derived T-cell differentiation to generate T cells with enhanced anti-tumor potential.
